Tea with Honey and Ice

  • 1 lemon
  • Strawberries, 1 orange
  • 2 water glasses of strong tea (black or green)
  • Honey
  • Ice blocks
  • Fresh mint leaves, cloves, cinnamon sticks

Cut the lemon in half. Extract the juice of one half. Thinly slice the other half. Clean and slice the strawberries. Wash, dry, and thinly slice the orange. Pour two glasses of strong tea into an ice-filled pitcher or a glass container. After all the ice cubes have melted, add cold water to your liking, honey, fresh mint leaves, cloves, cinnamon sticks and sliced fruits. Keep in the refrigerator for 1 hour, filter if preferred, then serve. You can also serve with picked ice pieces. Note: Slices of apple, strawberry or peach can also be added. Tea should be refrigerated fast during the preparation of ice-tea. Slow refrigeration makes the tea bitter. If green tea is preferred, a bunch of green tea is put into a porcelain pot full of boiling water. It is filtered after approximately five minutes, and then poured onto the ice cubes.
