Quince Dessert with Honey and Banana


  • 4 quinces
  • 1 apple
  • 4 bananas
  • 4 tablespoons of honey
  • 100 gr. of seedless raisins
  • 8 glasses of water
  • 6 glasses of ground sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar coloring
  • Cinnamon
  • 8 tablespoons of clotted milk cream
  • 4 tablespoons of pounded walnuts


Peel the quinces, cut into two, bore out the mid parts. Mix 5 glasses of water and sugar with the sugar coloring. place the quinces into this mixture. Cook until the fruits soften. Grate the apple; brown 1 glass of ground sugar, raisins and cinnamon over medium heat. Place the quinces onto a tray, pour the apple mixture onto them. Bake in a 180°C oven for 10-15 minutes. Place onto the service dish after cooling. Slice the bananas and place around the quinces. Place clotted cream and put pounded walnuts onto the banana slices. Pour honey onto the pounded walnuts and serve.
