Candied Chestnut with Honey

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of chestnuts
  • 1/2 glass of honey
  • 4 glasses of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Preparation

Horizontally cut a line on the chestnut shells. Boil water in a pot and put the chestnuts in boiling water. Boil for half an hour. Filter and cool. Remove the shells, process through the skimmer or crumble. Mix with honey, into a dough form. Make small balls with this dough. Mix powdered sugar with cinnamon. Pour into a flat tray. Roll the chestnut balls on this mixture to cover with sugar.
